Born into a Christian and musical family on 2nd August 1975, Israel Olayinka Whenayan Ekundayo began his music journey in the church at a very young age. Like many renowned singers, he started as a church vocalist in Nigeria, performing with the church band before eventually forming his own first band, which consisted of 19 members.
Armed with natural stage charisma and determination, Israel quickly began securing gigs and building recognition across Nigeria. His energetic performances and unique sound established him as a rising star in the Nigerian music scene.
Relocation and Continued Career in the UK
In 1999, Israel relocated to the United Kingdom, where he gathered some of the finest Nigerian musicians London had to offer. He continued his career with renewed focus, blending African rhythms with international influences to reach wider audiences.

Not long after his arrival, Israel registered Manna Entertainment Ltd, with the mission of showcasing and promoting his distinctive style of music in the UK and the diaspora.
